Mission To attract, develop and retain business in San Francisco.

Vision The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce is recognized as the pre-eminent business organization for advocacy, networking and economic growth.

Who and What We Are

The Chamber is a private, nonprofit organization with 2,000 member businesses.

Members are all sizes, from the smaller micro-business to mid-size firms and the largest multinational corporations and are drawn from every industry.

Members represent every commercial neighborhood in San Francisco. Members also come from all parts of the Bay Area -from San Jose and the Silicon Valley to Napa and Pleasanton

There are 35 professional Chamber team members, including numerous volunteer committees.

Why Members Join

While the rationale for becoming a member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce varies widely from member to member, members tend to fall into two main interest groups:

Business Development Connections who join the Chamber for direct business referrals, networking opportunities, greater visibility for their business, professional development (sales, marketing, technology), global business opportunities.

Advocates for Business-Friendly Government who recognize the value of joining with others to affect public policy by taking the initiative to solve problems and create a healthy environment for business and economic growth.
